Administrative history: 
The Student Showcase program was begun in 1985 by Dr. Sharon Araji of the Sociology Department. By 2000, the event was organized by a committee representing many of the academic departments at UAA.

The Showcase conferences were originally designed to build ties between students, faculty, and administrators and to highlight student research efforts.

Series description:
These flyers are advertisements for the Showcase: both encouraging submission of papers and projects for inclusion in the Showcase and advertising the event.
