Administrative history:
The Student Showcase program was begun in 1985 by Dr. Sharon Araji of the Sociology Department. By 2000, the event was organized by a committee representing many of the academic departments at UAA.

The Showcase conferences were originally designed to build ties between students, faculty, and administrators and to highlight student research efforts.
Series description:
The programs provide schedules for Student Showcase sessions and events. The Archives holds copies of the programs for 1985-1988, 1991, and 2000.
