In June 1976 the Office of Publications and Information became the Office of Public Affairs. It had three divisions at that time: information services, publication services, and promotion services.

The Office of Public Affairs served as the public relations unit for the University of Alaska, Anchorage.

Series description:
The series consists of a folder of materials addressed to high school guidance counselors. The folder includes flyers promoting individual degree programs, services offered by university offices, and other information relevant to recruiting of students.
