The University of Alaska Anchorage Facilities & Campus Services department is charged with the maintenance and care of 71 buildings on the Anchorage campus.
Series description:
The collection consists of the records of two inventories conducted on the artwork held by the University of Alaska Anchorage. The 1999 inventory is a digital copy of a two-volume report, including images, created by Wanda Seamster. Volume one relates to artwork obtained through the Art in Public Places program. Volume two documents art donated to the University. The 2010 inventory consists of a MSAccess database of information on the art along with images of the artworks.
Arrangement: The inventories are in the order in which they were received by the Archives.
Digital materials: The digitized version of the 1999 Seamster report is available on Scholarworks@UA. Volume 1. Volume 2. Access to the 2010 inventory may only be provided on-site in the Archives research room. Custodial history: The 1999 art inventory was digitized by the Archives for access purposes from one of the copies in the Consortium Library’s holdings in 2017. The copies of the 2010 inventory records were transferred to the Archives by Facilities and Campus Services in 2017 for the purposes of including the images in the picturingUAA database online (no longer available online.)
