Administrative history:
The Child Care Review Committee was created in May 1984 by Chancellor David Outcalt. Members included Lidia Selkregg (Chair), Julie Carnahan, Paul Janowiec, Cecilia Kleinkauf, Martha Rasmussen, Tracy Spartz, Kelly Swartzentruber, Sandy Tuttle, and Ralph Vandusseldorp. The committee issued a report in January 1985.

Agency functions:
The committee was assigned to review child care needs of the UAA campus, determine whether or not those needs could be met by existing on and off-campus facilities, assess the services provided by the Tanaina Child Care Center, and to make recommendations.

Series description:
The series consists of records created and collected by the Committee in carrying out the duties of the committee. These records include correspondence, research files, survey results, and the final report submitted to the Chancellor by the Committee.
