The Theatre and Dance Department provides curriculum on the subject and skills in theatre and dance. Subjects reflected in the curriculum include acting, directing, stagecraft, scene design, lighting, costuming, makeup, dramatic, literature, theatre history, dramatic theory and criticism, and playwriting. In addition, the theatre program performs major productions throughout the year. The dance program offers a BA in Theatre with a dance emphasis and a dance minor. Dance curriculum ranges from fundamentals of ballet, theory and improvisation, and dance for musical theatre.
