In 1978, the office was known as Institutional Studies. By 1989 it was the Office of Institutional Research. In fall of 1994, the name was changed to the Office of Institutional Planning, Research, and Assessment.

Series description:
This series consists of reports documenting the results of student surveys. The survey questions included topics such as educational objectives, evaluation of university services, and demographic information on the students themselves. Some reports pertain to individual UAA colleges as well as community campuses.
