The General Education Review Committee (GERC) was created in 2004.
A subcommittee of the Undergraduate Academic Board, GERC is responsible for reviewing the general education requirement courses that are submitted to the Undergraduate Academic Board (UAB).
This series contains the agendas and summaries for meetings of this committee as well as the records of a course-by-course review of all GER courses conducted in 2007-2008. Among the other information detailed in this series, are the date courses appeared on the agenda for this committee and when those courses were sent to UAB for second reading.
Arrangement: The minutes and agendas are in chronological order by date of meeting. The review records are arranged alphabetically by academic department.
