Administrative history:
In 1987, Alaska Community College (ACC) merged with the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA). Two new organizations were created to take over some of the functions of ACC: the College of Community and Continuing Education (CCCE) for non-degree programs, and the College of Career and Vocational Education (CCVE) for career and technical programs. As part of another major reorganization in 1996, CCCE and CCVE merged to form the Community and Technical College (CTC).

CCCE provided services for non-degree-seeking students.
Series description:
The series consists of a set of three photograph albums documenting daily life and special events at CCCE. The photographs depict CCCE employees working and posing for the camera; a move to a new building; officer parties, including Halloween and Christmas parties, and wedding shower; an annual picnic; people bring their babies to work; and some shots of employees engaged in activities outside of the office.
