Larry Hayden slides; 1970, 1974. 0.01 cubic feet. hmc-1502. Photographic slides taken by a longtime Anchorage resident.

Willis F. Hallock papers; 1943-1945. 0.4 cubic feet. hmc-1503. Photographs and letters from a weather observer with the U.S. Army Air Corps who served on Shemya, Annette Island, and Adak during World War II.

Norm Stadem photographs; 1958-1975. 0.8 cubic feet and 12 MB. hmc-1504. Slides and an album of prints of an avid outdoorsman involved in skiing, mountaineering, and commercial fishing.

Additional description added

Fred and Lidia Selkregg papers; 1914-2000, bulk 1963-1989. 10.8 cubic feet and 555.4 GB. HMC-0631. Papers of two Anchorage residents involved in civic affairs. This work was completed as part of the Alaska Federal Lands Project. Becky Butler Gallegos and Luna De La Rosa created a folder listing (previously, the container list for this collection was five rows of general description). Most audiovisual materials were digitized.

Outreach

Dani Tompkins and Eric Sowl of Alaska News Source visited and filmed a piece on a recent ephemera gift to the Archives.

Luna and Becky put together an exhibit on the Alaska Federal Lands Project. You can view it in the Great Hall in the Consortium Library. Keep your eyes peeled for tiny animals and hikers in the diorama!
