Administrative history:
The Alaska Center for International Business (ACIB) was formed by the University of Alaska Board of Regents in 1984. In 1987, the ACIB became an official statewide research and information center. ACIB later became a unit in the UAA School of Business and Public Administration.

Agency functions:
The purpose was to develop business and economic relationships with other nations, thereby helping Alaska to diversify and expand its own economy. The center conducted research, delivered instructional programs, and provided international business information to students, staff, and other businesses.

This series contains reports and studies conducted by ACIB.
