Ruben Gaines transcription project

Have you found this webpage and are wondering what it is? Please go check out our blog for the details on this project and how you could participate.

The listing for each recording includes the identifier, the title of the clip, a short description of the clip, the date of the recording if known (in some cases includes the date of the events mentioned in the recording), and a link to the audio clip on the Alaska’s Digital Archives. If the identifier is in bold print, transcription of this clip has already been claimed by a volunteer. If the link isn’t working, email us (contact information in the blog post or use the contact us link on this page) and let us know and we’ll get it fixed for you. Some of the descriptions were truncated, full descriptions can be seen on the link.

Edit 3/18/2020: Items that have already been transcribed have been moved to the end of the list so it’s easier to see what is still up for grabs. Thanks to our transcribers who have been making such great progress with this project so far!
