Alaska Methodist University (AMU) offered its first classes in 1960 and had its first baccalaureate service in 1961. In 1978, the school changed its name to Alaska Pacific University (APU).

There are also programs for APU’s baccalaureate services from 1992, 1997, and 1998. The programs from 1971 and 1974 are include both the baccalaureate services and commencement ceremonies.
