Biographical note:
Fred W. Wilkerson, originally from Missouri and born around 1910, was a civilian worker on the construction of the Canol Pipeline route. He appears to have been a telegraph lineman on that project.

Collection description:
The collection primarily consists of a photograph album related to Fred Wilkerson’s employment on the construction of the Canol Pipeline in the Yukon and Northwest Territories. The photographs include scenic images of places along the route, workers, construction equipment, and buildings. Locations include Dodo Canyon, the Norman Wells Road, Blue Mountain, and several of the camps along the route. The album also includes a few pages with names and hometowns of other workers and some images of family. The collection also contains his discharge from the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1933.
