The Libby, McNeill, & Libby Company owned and operated several salmon canneries throughout Alaska starting around 1912-1913.
Collection description:
This collection contains eight color negatives of fishing boats, inside a cannery (or multiple canneries), and unidentified cannery workers and fishermen. Some cannery employees are wearing shirts reading “Libby’s.” The boats Jackie out of Ketchikan and Mustang and both halibut and salmon processing are depicted. An unidentified man is pictured in a kitchen.
