Biographical note:
Walter E. Heinrichs, Jr. graduated from the Colorado School of Mines in 1940. He served as a commissioned offier in the U.S. Navy, assigned to the Office of Naval Petroleum Reserves in Alaska.
Collection description:
The collection consists of of notes reports related to geological explorations of the Chandler River area in the Naval Petroleum Reserve in northern Alaska.
