Collection description:
This collection contains color slides depicting scenes throughout Alaska from 1961 to 1963. Prominent sites depicted include Kenai, Ninilchik, Homer, Soldotna, Kasilof, Valdez, Seward, Fairbanks, Anchorage, and Denali National Park. There are images of Fur Rendezvous, the Mt. Marathon race, Governor William Egan, Solid Rock Bible Camp, Russian Orthodox cemeteries, and Daubenspeck Cannery. There are also numerous slides of Seattle and Yellowstone National Park. Finally, there are slides of Hill family members dated from 1966-1969. The sheets of paper with captions are photocopies provided by the donor.
