Organizational history:
Anchorage Light and Power Company was founded in 1923 by Frank Reed Sr. for the purposes of constructing a power plant at Eklutna. National Bank of Alaska oversaw bonds issued by the company. The physical assets of Anchorage Light and Power were sold to the city of Anchorage in 1943.

The collection consists of a variety of bank records related to trusts and bonds issued on behalf of Anchorage Light and Power Company.
