Biographical note:
Lt. Colonel Joseph Benoit served as Provost Marshal, U. S. Army Alaska, from 1950 to 1952. He and his family lived on Elmendorf Air Force Base at that time.

Collection description:
The collection consists of photographs and photographic postcards. Subjects of the images include Joseph Benoit, Alaska scenery, Alaskan towns, and a few photographs taken at Anchorage High School where Barbara Benoit, Joseph’s daughter, attended.

Arrangement: Photographs are in the order in which they arrived at the Archives.
