Collection description:
The collection consists of 52 photographic slides of Skagway and the White Pass and Yukon Railway. Most were taken by Joel King, but a few were taken by his father I. Walton King.

Arrangement: The slides are in the order in which they arrived at the Archives.

Acquisition note: This collection was donated to the Alaska Historical Society in 2017 by Cynthia King, Joel’s wife.  The Historical Society retains ownership of the collection and placed it on deposit in Archives and Special Collections in 2018.
