Northern Forum is a non-profit, international organization composed of sub-national or regional governments from eight northern countries. It was developed in 1990 from a Northern Regionals Conference held in Anchorage, AK. In November 1991, the Forum was formally established. The Forum brings leaders together to address common political, environmental, and economic issues.
The collection contains photographs of various activities of the Northern Forum. Photographs include meetings of the Board of Directors, General Assembly, Steering Committee, and Regional Coordinators, as well as circumpolar expeditions, programs, and conferences.
Arrangement: The collection is arranged in the order in which it arrived at the Archives.

Processing information: This collection was described by Veronica Denison in 2015. Photographs were removed from albums for preservation purposes. Album titles and original order were retained.
