Biographical note:
George Clark was born in 1927 and Evelyn was born in 1933; both in Ohio. George worked for Stalwart Rubber Co. in Bedford, Ohio. After retiring, George and Evelyn moved to Alaska and became residents of Wasilla in 1979. After moving to Alaska, George worked for Rent-A-Wreck and Evelyn worked in the bookkeeping department of Republic Auto Parts Inc. in Anchorage. George died in 2003 and Evelyn died in 2006.

Collection description:
This collection contains 1,453 colored slides taken by George and Evelyn Clark during their travels across the United States. The subjects of the slides include their different vacations to Alaska, New Hampshire, Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park, Niagara Falls, Maine, Colorado, and Ohio.

Arrangement: The collection is arranged in the order it arrived at the Archives.

Acquisition note: The collection was found in a house bought by Cindy Larson. The collection was then donated to Archives by Cindy Larson in 2013.
