Walter H. Kirklin worked as a sales agent for the Northern Commercial Company in Alaska during the 1930s.

Collection description:
This collection consists of a leather-bound booklet kept by Walter H. Kirklin containing information concerning sales of placer-gold mining equipment that Kirklin sold in Alaska for the Northern Commercial Company.  The handbook, which dates from circa 1938-1939, contains type-written lists of freight and tax rates, equipment lists, prices, and weights, and addresses for contacts in the state.
