The Alaska organization was known as the Medical Technology Association of Alaska until the mid-1990s. It is a chapter of the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS).

Collection description:
The collection consists of newsletters and administrative records relating to the functioning of the organization. The collection also includes a scrapbook of clippings, correspondence, and other material related to annual National Medical Laboratory Week celebrations.
