The collection consists of a photograph album that may have belonged to Homer E. Dalrymple. The collection contains photographs and the calling card of Homer E. Dalrymple. Subjects of the photographs include: groups of young people, primarily female, living and recreating in and around the town of Douglas, Alaska; and a group touring Alaska aboard the S.S. Northwestern and the Alaska Railroad. The photographs of Douglas, Alaska, include images of people, houses, cabins, buildings, docks, boats, and a fox farm. The groups of youths are shown picnicking, camping, boating, skiing, snowshoeing, and sightseeing. Other subjects include the S.S. Northwestern docked at Cordova and officers and passengers on-board the steamship; the Curry Hotel; Childs, Columbia, and Norris glaciers; the Yukon River at Circle City; a large group of people at Fort Yukon; and the Inside Passage. The remaining album page, with mounted photographs, includes a print of six girls wading at Waverly Beach (Lake Winnebago, Wisconsin), single prints of two girls named Ethel and Editha, and three groups of men, women, and children.
