History note:
The materials in this collection are related to a series of lawsuits related to several village corporations in the Kodiak region (including Afognak, Leisnoi, Old Harbor and others) and Koniag Inc. regarding a merger in 1980.

Collection description:
The collection consists of court case materials including filings, exhibits, depositions, and attorneys’ research files. Those materials include extensive financial and other information regarding the assets and structure of the corporations involved.

Arrangement: The documents in the first section of the collection (boxes 1-13) were arranged in bricks (file groupings) by organization, company, or topic. Within the bricks are sequentially numbered files. This order was retained and is noted in the container list below, with box and folder numbers added for ease of finding the files within the boxes. The arrangement of the second section of the collection is not defined. A box list is provided with rough descriptions of the contents for the second portion.
