Organizational history:
Alaska Mutual Bancorporation, a bank holding company, was incorporated in August of 1983. Its principal subsidiary was Alaska Mutual Bank. Other subsidiaries were Alaska Mortgage Company, Simlog Leasing Company and Mutual International Corporation. In December of 1987, Alaska Mutual Bancorporation merged with United Bancorporation of Alaska to form Alliance Bancorporation.
