Organizational history:
Ivan and Oro Stewart moved to Anchorage in 1942 and opened Stewart’s Photo Shop in downtown Anchorage in 1943.
Collection description:
The collection consists of 35mm color slides depicting Alaska buildings, scenery, wildlife, and other subjects. The slides were sold commercially, often to the tourist trade.
Arrangement: The slides are in numerical order, assigned roughly chronologically.
