The collection consists of two types of documents. The first is a financial ledger sheets containing hand-drawn rough maps of sections of the town of Seward and names of inhabitants according to address. The second type consists of forms collecting information similar to census records: the name of a resident, twon in which he or she resides, the name of spouse, childrens’ names and ages, other household residents, length of residence in Alaska, length of residence in Seward, and whether the home is rented or owned. The second set of documents includes Moose Pass, Bell’s Landing, Cooper’s Landing, and a few for Eklutna.
