Biographical note:
Robert Peduzzi served in the army as a helicopter mechanic from 1958-1960. An avid hunter and fisherman, he and fellow servicemen, one of whom flew a small plane, traveled around the Anchorage area, Kenai Peninsula, and Matanuska-Susitna Valley. He married Marian, his wife, in 1961 after his return home from Alaska.
Collection description:
The collection contains 320 35mm photographic slides primarily documenting Robert Peduzzi’s leisure and work time while in Alaska. The photographs include fellow servicemen, aerial photographs of southcentral Alaska, Elmendorf Air Force Base, hunting, and a variety of other activities.
Arrangement: The collection is in the order in which it arrived at the Archives. The photographs are roughly grouped by subject.
