Biographical note:
Bill Lathan, Anchorage resident, worked as a surveyor for Arctic Surveying.

Collection description:
This collection consists of twenty 35 mm color slides and 5 photographs of pipeline development and construction, possibly out of the 5 Mile Camp.  The images were taken in the summer of 1977.  Images include views of the compressor used to test the pipeline for leaks and of the machine used to put insulation around the pipe. The collection also includes Bill Lathan’s TAPS identification card (1976) and his Merchant Seaman discharge certificate (1973).

Arrangement: The collection contents are grouped by type: slides, photographs, documents.
