Collection description:
This collection contains sixty-two original photographs which are primarily scenes of southeastern and southcentral Alaska. A number are signed Thurston or C.M.T. or are in the same handwriting. They depict a trip on the S.S. Bertha, mines (Beatson’s Mine and the Elmar Mine), towns and areas (Ft. Liscum, Orca, Cordova, Seldovia, Valdez, and Yakutat), and places (St. Augustine Volcano and Broad Pass).

Arrangement: The photographs are in the order in which they arrived at the Archives.
