Collection description:
The collection consists of the contents of an album of collected Alaskan and northern postcards. The collection contains: 2 original black and white photographic prints; 3 black and white photo post cards; and 23 color photo post cards. Scenes in the images include: Fairbanks, Hyder, Sitka, Placer Canyon, Gold Hill, Treadwell Mine, and Skagway, Alaska; Telegraph Creek, British Columbia; White Pass and Yukon Railway views; White Pass and Yukon Route riverboat steamer White Horse in Five Fingers Rapids; and Dawson, Yukon Territory. Some of the postcards have writing on the back in a variety of hands and from different individuals.
Arrangement: The postcards were retained in the order in which they appeared in the album.
