Kathryn and Therald Krumroy were a couple from Akron, Ohio, who took an extended organized tour of Alaska in the summer of 1981.
Collection description:
The collection consists of the travel slides of Kathryn and Therald Krumroy. The collection contains 299 color 35mm slides and nine descriptive paper slips from the slide magazines that once held them. The slides include scenes of: Anchorage, Nome, Kotzebue, Fairbanks, Mount McKinley (Denali) National Park, Portage Glacier, the Alaska Railroad, Prince William Sound, the Richardson Highway, the Alaska Highway, the White Pass and Yukon Railway, Whitehorse, Skagway, the Inside Passage, Sitka, and Seattle.
