Biographical note:
Fannie and John Woodiel, were teachers in Alaska from 1955 to 1966. They were assigned to various places, including Nome, Fairbanks, Kenai, Ninilchik, Yakutat, and Red Devil. John died in 1972, Fannie in 1994.

Collection description:
The collection consists of 35mm slides, including outdoor scenes of buildings, towns, and events, but some are interiors, primarily students and schools where they taught.

Arrangement: The slides are in groupings, primarily by location.
