Biographical note:
Emma (Stuby) Cameron (née Stubjae) moved to Nome in 1936 to teach at Nome High School, where she worked for 25 years until she was retired. She married Billy Cameron, who worked for a mining company in Nome.
Collection description:
The collection contains photographs taken in and around Nome. Subjects of the photographs include wolf hunting, hydrolic mining and dredges, a play at Nome High School, various people and buildings, a costume party, rafting, Cameron’s cabin, and dog teams.
Arrangement: The collection is arranged in no discernible order.
