Biographical note:
Charles Ralph Dickinson graduated from the U. S. Military Academy in 1904. As a second lieutenant, Dickinson was assigned to the 3rd Infantry at Fort St. Michael, Alaska, and engaged in repair work on the Alaskan telegraph line until July, 1906. Ralph Dickinson died in 1963.

The collection consists of 128 photographic prints taken or collected by Ralph Dickinson while stationed at St. Michael.
