Biographical note:
Frederick Henry Hahn IV was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He enlisted in the Marine Corps at the age of 16 during World War 2. He moved to Alaska in 1950 and homesteaded in Eagle River. He married Darlene Barnhart and they had two children, Dawn and Fritz. After Darlene and Fred divorced, he left Alaska in 1961. He moved to Florida and married his second wife, Lou. He died in Florida in 2005.
