Biographical note:
Eugene and Carole Lavin moved to Homer, Alaska in 1964 from Reno, and before that, Chicago. They moved to Anchorage in the late 1960s and then back to Homer where Eugene managed the Driftwood Inn. They had three children: Kim, Greg, and Tracy. After Eugene and Carole divorced in the early 1970s, they both moved back to Anchorage.
Collection description:
The collection consists of the family photographs. These include school photographs, family events, and travel. The collection includes some extended family photographs as well.
Arrangement: The photographs are generally grouped by approximate date, where discernable. Undated materials are sorted by approximate decade and follow the materials with specific dates.
