Biographical note:
The creating family is unknown, but they lived in or visited Kodiak in 1959. Some of the earliest photographs in the album are captioned in Swedish.

Collection description:
The collection consists of a photograph album with black and white photographs depicting family life. A small section of the album can be dated to Kodiak in 1959 as it includes photographs of an Alaska statehood parade in downtown Kodiak.

Arrangement: The photographs are in the order in which they were placed in the album.

Acquisition note: The collection was purchased by the Archives on Ebay in 2005.

Processing information: This album was photocopied and dismantled shortly after arriving at the Archives. Photographs were sorted by size and placed in enclosures. The original order of the photographs was re-established and the collection was described by Arlene Schmuland in 2021.
