Don Schwartz was a serviceman stationed aboard a Coast Guard buoy tender, the White Holly, homeported in Ketchikan, Alaska. He may have been from Minnesota.
Collection description:
The collection consists of a letter and photographs. The letter was written to a friend, Red Midtbo, and talks about the area, the weather, and Don’s activities. The nine photographic slides include local totem poles, a photograph of the buoy tender, a photograph of a support boat, and a photograph of a man at a table onboard a ship.
Arrangement: The collection is in the order in which it arrived at the Archives.
