Biographical note:
Claude Constant Reagan Jr. was born in 1921. He graduated high school in 1939 and joined the US Navy, serving as a warrant officer. During WWII, Reagan was stationed in the Aleutians on the USS Teal. He retired from the Navy in the 1960s. Claude Reagan Jr. died in 2006.
Collection description:
The collection contains a Yellow Cab Company card and photographs of Kodiak, the Aleutians, and the USS Teal. The Yellow Cab Company card is from Juneau and signed by Ray Baxter. The photographs of Kodiak depict the Bank of Kodiak, a street in Kodiak, and the city. Other photographs depict Reagan and other men who served on the USS Teal, dogs, and scenery. The collection also contains a shipping receipt to send mail from Dutch Harbor, Alaska, to Seattle, Washington.
