Despite some weather closures, we hit the ground running after the holiday break with a session for the UAA Winter Teaching Academy for faculty, in which we discussed how (and why!) to incorporate archival materials into course curriculum. And that session has already borne some results: we are getting contacts from faculty interested in what we have that might relate to the courses they’re teaching. So that’s exciting! In other teaching news, Gwen taught intro to archives research sessions for two different history classes.
A new person has joined our team: Luna De La Rosa. Luna will be working to support Becky’s lands project. Becky posted an introduction to the project on our blog, if you’d like to find out more.
